Meet the Artist

I received a BFA from the University of Missouri. I now live with my husband, Matt, in St Louis, Missouri, where we raise our three kids.

I am inspired by finding commonality in people’s sense of beauty and meaning, especially where beliefs are superficially at odds. My work insists on the precious nature of life simmering below the surface of ordinary moments, inviting the viewer to consider where meaning may be lurking in plain sight. My painterly style blends impressionist, expressionist, and surrealist influences, in order to heighten the sensation that even the texture of the acrylic medium itself matters.

As a local artist, I work with clients throughout the state of Missouri. I also ship throughout the continental United States and internationally by request.
