Meet the Artist
I received a BFA from the University of Missouri. I now live with my husband, Matt, in St Louis, Missouri, where we raise our three kids.
Family vacations to national parks and other havens of natural beauty were milestones in my childhood. There's something awe-inspiring about the notion that these places remain unaltered by the modern world. They patiently wait, offering both sanctuary and adventure when you need it.
To me, visiting the parks is like a modern pilgrimage-a quest for the extraordinary and transformative. In my work, I strive to encapsulate our transcendent connection to nature. My art shows how nature is real, but also like a dream you can feel.
