Commission a Painting

I'd love to help bring a place that's special to you to life through an original painting!

I accept a limited number of commissions each year. Most commissions are completed during the winter months, when my art show schedule slows down, although I can occasionally accommodate projects throughout the year.

Below you'll find information about pricing, timing, and the commission process.

Pricing

Commissioned paintings are priced the same as my other original artwork and include a floater frame, ready to hang.

12 × 16 inches $690

16 × 20 inches $1,150

24 × 24 inches $2,200

24 × 36 inches $3,600

36 x 36 inches $5,150

36 × 48 inches $6,700

48 x 48 inches $9,000

48 × 72 inches $13,500

60 × 72 inches $16,500

Additional sizes are available upon request. My smallest commission size is 12 × 16 inches.

Shipping is additional and varies depending on the size of the painting and its destination.

How the Process Works

1. Tell me your idea.

Fill out the inquiry form below with a little information about what you have in mind. Whether it's a favorite national park, a meaningful landscape, or a place full of memories, I'd love to hear about it!

2. We'll discuss the details.

I'll review your request and let you know whether it's something I can take on, along with an estimated timeline. We'll discuss your preferred size, subject, and any reference photographs.

3. Reserve your commission.

Once we've agreed on the details, a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your spot on my commission schedule. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before shipping or pickup.

4. I'll create your painting!

Using our discussion and your reference images (if applicable) as inspiration, I'll create an original painting in my signature style. My paintings are expressive interpretations rather than exact photographic reproductions, so each piece will be uniquely its own.
